Oxonmoot 52 is upon us! As usual, we will be discussing the various papers and panels in our dedicated channel in the Discord server throughout the weekend. There are a few welcome events today, but things will really kick off very early tomorrow morning when the papers begin.

We will also be holding an in-person watch party on Saturday, September 6th. We’ll meet around 9:15am so we can be set up in time for Sara Brown’s paper at 9:45. Head out when you need to, or consider staying through the entertainments & masquerade that run 3:30-6:30pm.

This is a potluck of sorts, so please bring something to eat or drink for second breakfast or elevenses! Or luncheon, or afternoon tea… We’ll have a nice long day ahead of us. Please check the allergies and dietary restrictions information on Discord and let us know if you have any to report. And please let us know what food or drink you’ll be supplying!

Note: We aren’t doing costumes this year, but if you have an Oxonmoot t-shirt or any other casual Tolkien apparel, wear that! We’ll probably take another group photo.
